CDS Wolf Foundation Raises $47,000 at 11th Annual Strikes for Abilities Bowling Party!

The CDS Wolf Foundation hosted its 11th annual Strikes for Abilities Bowling Party Sunday afternoon at Empire Lanes in Webster, N.Y. This community-wide bowling party helped to raise money for unfunded areas of need at CDS Life Transitions. This event was presented by Flaherty Salmin CPAs and Gallo & Iacovangelo, Attorneys at Law. The total amount raised was $47,000, the most ever raised at Strikes for Abilities, thanks to the participation and support of more than 300 people!

“This money is incredibly important for the continuation of programs for the individuals we serve,” said Sankar Sewnauth, President & CEO of CDS Life Transitions. “We are so grateful for the support from the community, and thankful for all of those who helped make this event such a huge success.”

Chuckie Dell was awarded top fundraiser for the eighth year in a row for raising $4,586 and was presented with a plaque, and Mike Schwabl of Dixon Schwabl won top bowler with a score of 416 for two games.

CDS Life Transitions is the parent company to six subsidiaries that provide support and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people with chronic illnesses, seniors and veterans.
