Some of the residents at our Peachtree Road home dressed up (pictured above), Blended Creative Opportunities held a Halloween dance (pictured left), Linden Creative Opportunities had a Halloween party and everyone had a happy Halloween!

Mission Champion: Kara Ferner

The Mission Champion feature highlights staff members who are doing an exceptional job in the name of our mission so the people we serve can achieve their dreams.

Kara started at CDS Monarch in November of 2012 where she currently serves as an assistant residence manager. She assists the residents with their daily goals, helping them prepare their meals, among other tasks, in addition to supporting the residence manager.

"Kara has been my right-hand woman since I arrived at Beckwith last May," Beckwith Residence Manager Ann Marie Ludd said. "She has taught me so much about Beckwith and the Retirement Program and is a one-of-a-kind assistant residence manager whom I hope will take the plunge to become the successful manager that I know she will be."
